Our little Levi turned 1 this previous weekend and we celebrated with a farm theme first celebration! It was lovely and an amazing youngsters’ get together theme for early fall, too. It may be costly to throw any sort of get together, not to mention a themed, Pinterest-y one, however I managed to maintain it actually budget-friendly by making the primary decorations myself: the crimson barn background and the cow-print flag banner. The remaining I purchased at Greenback Tree and Celebration Metropolis, extra on that under!

I made the cow print flag banner with black and white poster boards, kitchen twine (any string or skinny ribbon would work), and a single gap punch. First I reduce out the white triangle flags, then reduce little, irregular “splotches” out of the black poster board and used a glue stick with safe them to the flags. I punched holes within the high corners of every flag and threaded the twine by means of every one.
